Youth JDU J&K welcomes India, Pak agreement to maintain 2003 ceasefire agreement | KNO

Tangmarg, June 2 (KNO) : Janta Dal United J&K State Youth President Sheikh Nadeem has welcomed India and Pakistan’s decision to maintain the 2003 ceasefire agreement to stop cross-border firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir and expressed the hope that the two countries would properly resolve their differences through dialogue and reconciliation.

The Director Generals of Military Operations (DGMOs) of India and Pakistan on May 29 2018, during a conversation over the hotline, agreed to fully implement the ceasefire pact of 2003 in “letter and spirit” forthwith to stop cross-border firings in Jammu and Kashmir. In a Statement Sheikh Nadeem said that this will pre-empt violence or any harm to innocent people and will lead to a new atmosphere of confidence building in the troubled state. Sheikh Nadeem also maintained that Janta Dal United from its inception has advocated for dialogue and peace and believes that only the dialogue between the two Countries can end the hostilities.

He Urged upon both India & Pakistan to resolve issue's through Peaceful manner so that People on both sides didn't have to loose precious lives.
